1. Using GetWorker

GetWorker connects people who need a job done (seekers) with people who do it (workers). You need an account to book or to offer work. You must be able to enter a contract where you live, and the details you give us must be accurate.

Your account is yours alone. Keep your password to yourself, and tell us if you think someone else has used it.

2. What we collect

At signup: your email address and password (stored hashed — we never see it). After that, only what you choose to add: your name, phone number, location, skills and anything else you put in your profile or send through the service.

3. What we do with it

We use your information to run the service: to create and secure your account, to match seekers with workers, to process bookings, and to email you about your account and your jobs.

We do not sell your information, and we do not pass it to third parties for their own use. The only people who see it are:

  • the other party to a booking you have made — and only the details needed to get the job done;
  • the suppliers that run the service on our behalf (hosting, database, email delivery), who may only use it to provide that service to us;
  • anyone we are legally required to disclose it to, or where it is needed to investigate fraud, abuse, or a safety risk.

Contact details are never shown in public search results. Worker profiles stay hidden from search until an admin has reviewed them.

4. Your choices

You can view and change the information on your profile at any time, and you can ask us to delete your account and the personal information attached to it. We may keep records we are required to keep, such as records of completed transactions.

5. Rules and enforcement

Do not use GetWorker to break the law, to misrepresent who you are, to harass anyone, or to scrape or resell other people's details. We can suspend or remove an account that does.

GetWorker is a marketplace, not the employer of the workers on it. The work itself is arranged between the seeker and the worker. We provide the service as it is and cannot guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error free.

6. Changes

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will tell you by email or in the app before the change takes effect. Continuing to use GetWorker after that means you accept the new terms.
